Teena Gupta co-founded Nurse Next Door and Rosemary Rocksalt with Sim, who is running for re-election on Oct. 17 as leader of the ABC Vancouver party.
Vancouver city hall’s communications department referred theBreaker to the Office of the Mayor. Director of communications Ogi Radoicic and chief of staff Trevor Ford have not responded.
Wall Street Journal and Front Office Sports separately posted videos in which fans at the final were asked how much they spent on tickets. One fan of Spain said he paid $20,000.
Vancouver was one of 16 cities with FIFA hosting contracts, which included an allotment of four VIP tickets to the final. City hall spent $14 million on VIP tickets and suites from FIFA hospitality contractor On Location as part of a program to sell local sponsorships.
