A parade of resignations from Conservative leader Kerry-Lynne Findlay’s caucus triggered an emergency meeting of centre-right political activists and strategists in a Vancouver White Spot restaurant on Aug. 26. 

One of them was Jordan Bateman, vice-president of the Independent Contractors and Busineses Association of B.C. 

The former B.C. director the Canadian Taxpayers’ Federation is Bob Mackin’s guest, to discuss the opposition crisis and fears that Premier David Eby’s NDP could exploit Conservative infighting and the Trump trade war to call an election sooner than the scheduled 2028 vote.
