New Westminster is the geographic centre of Metro Vancouver and Coun. Daniel Fontaine has been at the centre of the campaign to reform scandal-plagued Metro Vancouver. 

Fontaine leads the New West Progressives and is seeking the mayoralty in the Oct. 17 election. 

With almost a month until local government elections across B.C., host Bob Mackin caught up with Fontaine at Westminster Quay to hear his plans for the Royal City and the regional district.
